2007 Event

September and October 2007

Thousands of Government of Alberta employees took part in staff sessions this fall to celebrate how we, as a public service, proudly work together.

The events were held in seven communities across the province, including Edmonton, Red Deer, Grande Prairie, Calgary, Lethbridge, St. Paul, and Fort McMurray between September 6 and October 18, 2007.

Staff heard from a team of Deputy Ministers about the new APS Workforce Plan and the importance of the vision and values in our everyday work.

The event included a video message from Premier Ed Stelmach, a video presentation titled "Driving Alberta" featuring  GoA employees talking about proudly working together, and saw a series of vision and values stories from colleagues demonstrating how they have brought these values to life.
