Everybody knows the value of learning, but fitting it into an already busy schedule often seems to be an unsolvable problem. The solution: On-the-job learning.
Learning on the job allows you to develop the skills you need without taking you away from the things you need to get done. It is more than just time and cost efficient - it's effective because you learn the skills you need in the environment where you will use them.
In this section of the toolkit, you will see ideas for on-the-job learning for
each of the competencies
these are development tasks - so pick tasks that will stretch you,
many of the tips involve seeking feedback, so reading the section "
take time to reflect on what you have learned, and
have fun and reward yourself for being a proactive continuous learner!
